Since 2013, the Association of Spanish Scientists in the Federal Republic of Germany (CERFA) has brought together Spanish researchers, professionals, and students pursuing their scientific careers in Germany. More than 600 members are part of this network, which promotes collaboration, mobility, and the dissemination of scientific knowledge between the two countries.

At CERFA, we work to build a strong network of cooperation among researchers, universities, and research centers in Germany and Spain. We foster collaborations, promote scientific mobility, and serve as a meeting point for talent and knowledge.
At CERFA, we support Spanish scientists from the moment they arrive in Germany, offering them guidance, opportunities, and a community with which to share experiences.
Together, we can go further
We collaborate with scientific institutions, universities, and foundations that share our vision of open and international science.
We are a member association of RAICEX (Network of Associations of Spanish Scientists Abroad) and have active agreements with ASEICA, CERU, FECYT, the Ramón Areces Foundation, and other organizations that strengthen the ties between Spain and Germany.
