El jueves 7 de Octubre a las 18h tendrá lugar la tercera edición de los Diálogos Científicos organizados por la Embajada de España en Alemania en colaboración con CERFA. Esta vez, la Profesora Carmen Infante Duarte (Charité University Hospital, Berlín) nos introducirá en las neurociencias con la charla titulada Neuroimmunology: from basic science to the clinical practice… and vice versa. Su investigación se centra en el estudio de enfermedades inmunológicas que afectan al sistema nervioso, en concreto en la esclerosis múltiple. Moderará la Dra. Celia Escudero Hernández, investigadora postdoctoral en University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein de Kiel y presidenta de la incipiente delegación CERFA-Norte.
El evento online se realizará en inglés y está destinado tanto al público científico en general como a profesionales en materia de política científica. Además de la introducción a la sclerosis múltiple, se comentará el curso de la Carrera científica en Alemania en el ámbito de las ciencias biomédicas.

The Spanish Embassy in Berlin and the Association of Spanish Scientists in Germany (CERFA) are pleased to invite you to our third online science-talk featuring Prof Dr Carmen Infante-Duarte (Charité University Hospital, Berlin). She will introduce us to neurosciences with her talk entitled Neuroimmunology: from basic science to the clinical practice… and vice versa. Specifically, she will explain how complex immune disorders might affect the nervous system. Prof Dr Carmen Infante-Duarte mainly focuses her research on the search for prognosis and diagnosis markers as well as characterizing multiple sclerosis. The session will be moderated by Dr Celia Escudero-Hernández, postdoctoral researcher at University Hospital Schleswig-Holstein in Kiel and president of the recently founded CERFA-North division.
The event is open to scholars, researchers, students and policy practitioners. Its aim is to facilitate an open dialogue on issues of common interest for the scientific community and beyond: the scientific profession in biomedical sciences, academic cultures in Germany, and the specifics of life-threatening disorder multiple sclerosis.
